i'm so stoked how awesome the last couple days went.. [terribly sorry for those of you who were unable to make it..no really, i am! :)] it was a fantastic workshop...amazing food..superb networking and a whole lotta fun!

i've snagged a few different perspectives of the workshop from a few of the attendees blogs.. :)

totally love the shirt i had made for [b].. he has a fetish for rad shirts.. :)

again..thank you vanphotogs for making this a fabulous event! the next workshop for this year is in the making and will be announced soon! :)

last year, one of our local vancouver photogs, chris+lynn, started this amazing yet simple mission that spread like wildfire in the photog industry and beyond..

it's simple -
you get comments on your blog for a said number of days, and those comments represent one can per comment for the local food bank.
what a fabulous to give this season!!

brilliant, no!? :)

so do up a blog post and get your readers/clients/subscribers leaving comments on your blog this season so you can donate cans to your local food bank!

THE GIFT OF LIFE - extension for photo deadline!!

a recent note from peggy:

Hi all!

We have been getting a bunch of photographs coming from you - THANK YOU! In light of the fact that we have secured the exhibition gallery (the Little Mountain Gallery at 26th and Main) for Feb 3-10th, I would like to extend the deadline one last time to allow more photographers to participate.

Deadline is now Dec 31st, 2009. (This will allow enough time for us to get the photos ready for display). This will be the last time we are extending it. Get your entries to Eric asap!

are you always experimenting with off - camera flash techniques?
wouldn't it be cool to be with a bunch of photogs sharing tricks about it all?

well, hello!!! come out for this photowander!

not only will we be able to do some fun stuff, but amber hughes has agreed to be a fountain of off-camera flash knowledge to anyone on the wander.. [by the way, she's real good at it, if you didn't know..and she's a CANON user.. :)..]

we'll meet up at the starbucks on columbia street at 2:30 sharp..we will only wait around 10 minutes, then we're GONZO! :)

we'll even have a couple of models for the photo wander too.. wooot wooot!
